During the drying process, cold air is drawn into the drying
chamber by a circulation fan and flows through an electric heater
(or oil/gas burner) placed inside the air channels to obtain the
required temperature. With the help of an air distributor, the hot
air flows evenly through each layer of product for heat transfer
and carries away evaporated moisture. Most of the moist air flows
back to the circulation fan for the next drying cycle, while some
of the moist air is exhausted to save energy. When drying is
complete, the chamber door is opened and the trolley is pulled out
for unloading. The diagram below will show you how it works.
